1. Balance the water: Test your water and ensure the pH level sits comfortably between 7.2 and 7.6.
2. Calculate your dose: Check the packaging weight guidelines to measure the exact dose required for your pool or hot tub volume.
3. Pre-dissolve: Always dissolve the granules in a clean plastic bucket filled with warm water to ensure even distribution.
4. Apply: With your filtration pump running, pour the solution evenly around the perimeter of the water or directly into the skimmer.
5. Verify levels: Wait 1–2 hours before testing again. Ensure free chlorine levels register between 1.0 and 3.0 mg/L (ppm).
