These sachets of Kiddy Pool water treatment worked a treat on our kids paddling pool and were the cheapest we could find on the internet on this website. After a day or two our kid’s paddling pool water would become dirty and the floor of the pool got very slippy with some kind of slime, kids would slip and injure themselves. We added half a sachet of this to the roughly 500 litre paddling pool and it kept it slime free and the water clear for 9 days, after which the pool was put away so can’t comment on if it would work for 2 weeks as stated on the sachet. There are some warnings on the sachet about kids not drinking the pool water but I don’t think they are as bad as some people have made out in other reviews. I think the warnings apply to the neat product not once the sachets are diluted with hundreds of litres of water. Besides, you shouldn’t really be letting your kids drink paddling pool water regardless of whether it has chemicals in or not. Our two kids used it for 9 days and were splashing each other every day without any ill issues at all. Will definitely purchase again as it save so much hassle emptying and filling the pool, especially after a 40% recent increase in our water bills.
